A graduate of the University of North Alabama, Leslie holds bachelor's degrees in Fitness Management and Business Administration. She spent more than 20 years in healthcare, including owning and operating Peak Physical Therapy in Decatur from 2017 to 2023. As a business owner, she gained firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and building strong relationships with clients, employees, and the community.

In addition to her healthcare career, Leslie teaches aquatic survival and swim instruction to children of all ages. Her ability to connect with young people, earn their trust, and create a positive learning environment has made her a respected instructor and mentor for families across North Alabama.

After experiencing a life-changing stroke at age 46, Leslie's determination throughout recovery strengthened her belief that challenges can become opportunities for growth. Today, she is passionate about encouraging others to persevere, embrace change, and pursue their goals with confidence.

Leslie and her husband, Allan, live in Hartselle, Alabama, and are proud parents of two children, Chaney Grace, a middle school English teacher, and Garrett, an Eagle Scout.
